QC in Action Podcast

AVID Digital Summer Bridge

Prepare for your future with a guided digital summer school experience!

AVID Summer Bridge is a program designed to strengthen students' math and science skills over the summer gap to prepare them for their future grade level. This free program is for current sixth, seventh, and eighth graders who are currently passing all of their classes. Students can choose from three digital modules in math and science. The program dates are Monday through Thursday from June 1 through 18, 2020. Program time is from 10:00 a.m. until noon.

Presentations/Webinars

Be in the know - The World of Vaping. This 60 minute presentation addresses the harms and consequences of vaping in youth. It educates youth and adults of the choices teens make today that will have a lasting impact on their health. The course focuses on the illegal substances being used in vapes, as well as the health risks and legal ramifications. The webinar offers suggestions on how to have open discussions with teens on making positive life choices.
